Life Initiative for Change (LIC) proudly disbursed micro-grants totaling ZMW 320,000 to 18 Self-Help/Savings Groups — 7 groups in Rufunsa on 25th March 2026 and 11 groups in Lusaka on 27th March 2026. These grants will enable groups to grow their income through group-based economic activities while implementing community initiatives that improve health, livelihoods, sanitation, gender equality, and support for vulnerable community members. The District Commissioners of Rufunsa and Lusaka were Guests of Honour, recognizing the power of community-led solutions. This program demonstrates that lasting change comes from organized communities, collective action, and local leadership. It aligns with government priorities and contributes to SDGs, including Good Health & Wellbeing, No Poverty, and Climate Action.
