Founded in 2020 and incorporated in 2022, LIC came into existence from experience of seeing vulnerable groups of society experiencing various life issues and yet not being able to adequately address them either because solutions are not available or not adequately targeted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LIC&#8217;s work is structured around four key pillars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Health: <\/strong>LIC partners with the <strong>Ministry of Health <\/strong>to provide essential health services while integrating <strong>climate-sensitive interventions <\/strong>to enhance community resilience and equitable access, especially for vulnerable populations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Disaster Risk Reduction<\/strong>: LIC enhances community resilience by addressing key risk drivers, including climate change, gender inequality, and food and water insecurity. To mitigate these risks, LIC promotes sustainable waste management, clean energy adoption, sustainable food systems, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene).
